Top 5 Things I Learned About Showcases

Today my guest post is by my business partner, Bahram Shirazi.  He writes this article from the viewpoint of a parent having gone through the college recruiting process.  He has seen and done it all at this point, having traveled all over the country with his son playing for various travel teams over the past six years.

As a parent who has gone through the college recruiting process, I believe showcases are probably the single best dollar investment for those aspiring to play college baseball. Players often join travel teams to get exposure. But, the reality is that college coaches, more often, go to showcases to see the most number of players at any given time. But I should say that not every showcase is for you.
