Nunzio SignoreNunzio Signore (BA, CPT, CSCS, NASM, PES, FMS)
Nunzio is the owner and operator RPP (Sloatsburg, NY), author of the book Pitchers Arm Care, Co-Director of the Pitching Lab and writer and lecturer. He has been one of the most in-demand coaches/trainers in Rockland and Bergen Counties for the past 10 years.  He speaks annually at clinics like Be the Best and Inside Baseball as well as travel to speak to college exercise science majors at schools such as Springfield College, Cortland University and Montclair State to name a few. Nunzio is a performance enhancement specialist certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is also certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS). He has done extensive baseball mentorships with Eric Cressey of Cressey Sports Performance as well as programs with Mike Boyle (Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey, Boston Red Sox).

 

Anfrew OjedaAndrew Ojeda (BS Biology, CPT, NASM)
Andrew graduated from Suffern High School in 2008 after playing on the Suffern Varsity Hockey team for four years. After he graduated from Suffern, Andrew attended Hudson Valley Community College for 2 years where he also played hockey and helped lead the team to two national tournaments. He was awarded 2nd Team All American honors in his second year. After HVCC, he attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), majoring in biology. He continued to play with the ice hockey team while at UMBC and again helping them reach two national tournaments. His enthusiasm for fitness excellence is bar none. He has always been one to dedicate himself to staying in shape and enjoy helping others to get in shape. He is currently working towards his master’s degree in kinesiology.

 

 

Jason Schwartz

Jason Schwartz (BS, CSCS, NSCA)
Jason grew up playing all sports and eventually found his way into lacrosse. He spent several seasons playing for Suffern as well as playing club-level for Towson University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.  After several internships, he found his niche in the weight room; coaching and finding satisfaction helping others to achieve their goals and dreams.  Jason’s certification is in Strength and Conditioning and loves working with athletes of all ages.  He believes everyone is capable of accomplishing great things as long as they are willing to put in the work and effort to get there.

 

 

IMG_2255Travis Laitar (BS, CPT, NASM)
Travis graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor of Science in fitness development. He was a member of the Cortland baseball team for all four years including three teams that reached the College World Series. In 2015 Travis closed out the Collegiate World Series in which Cortland won its first ever baseball National Title and was named to the All-Region Team for his performance that year. After graduation he completed his internship with Rockland Peak Performance in the summer of 2016 and has been with us ever since. Travis now dedicates his life to helping athletes in all sports reach the next level of their sport. He believes all athletes have what it takes to reach their goals and as a coach here at RPP believes he can help reach them.

 

 

Dante 2

Dante Tobler (BA Health & Exercise Science)
Dante graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in health promotion & fitness management. He was a member of the Rowan football team for all four years, winning two conference championships and was elected team captain as a senior in 2016-17. After graduation he completed his internship with Rockland Peak Performance in the summer of 2017 and has been with RPP ever since. He plans to sit for his CSCS this spring and one day hopes to open his own facility. Dante’s passion is to help all athletes become the best they can be not just as players, but as individuals as well.

 

 

Ed Howard

Ed Howard (CPT, NASM, FMS)
Ed is an avid runner having completed several marathons including the New York City and London marathons. He has also studied the martial arts of Aikido and Aiki Jiu Jutsu attaining a second degree black belt. In addition to the running, Ed likes to throw in some cycling (road and mountain) and hiking into the mix of his workouts. His interest in martial arts led him to attend a kick boxing class; Ed discovered that it was actually a boot camp class being taught by Nunzio. This class had it all, a balanced mix of strength, speed, agility exercises, and plyometrics. This sparked the athlete in Ed to take this further and use these same techniques, knowledge and skill to help people attain their desired goals.

 

 

Cynthia GrayCynthia Gray (CPT, NASM)
Cynthia Gray is a personal trainer and fitness instructor certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. A former dancer and mother of two, Cynthia was first introduced to Nunzio’s athletic style of training several years ago when she was in search of a way to get in shape after having two kids. She was so inspired by his intense way of working out that she began studying his methods and has been training others using Nunzio’s unique program design ever since.

 

 

 

MeBahram Shirazi (BSEE, MBA)
Bahram Shirazi is co-owner and business partner at RPP. His responsibilities include finance, marketing, and business development and growth strategy.  He was previously a partner/investor with The Cypress Group LLC, a private equity firm based in New York City.  Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers Inc.  Bahram is married with two children, Cyrus (18) and Mackie (11).  Cyrus will be attending and playing baseball at Bates College this fall.  He is a graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (1985) and an MBA from Columbia University (1988).

 

 

Baseball Instruction

Mike Rozema is from New Jersey and his baseball career began with high school at Fair Lawn, where during his final year he was awarded with All-State Selection as Shortstop.  He played at St. John’s University for four years with a full scholarship.  While at St. John’s, he was selected 1st Team All-Conference, 3rd Team All-American Selection and he was also a 2 Year Captain of the team.

Mike was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2004 in the 14<sup>th</sup> round and spent five seasons with them reaching the AAA level.  A couple of years after leaving the Braves organization, he began Rozema Baseball and he has been instructing ball players ever since.  Teaching young ball players how to play the game is his passion and he takes great joy and pride in watching players mature and excel at their craft.
