Testimonials

“While we believe that velocity is a prerequisite for any high-level pitcher, movement and relative movement is the other half of the equation. We apply this concept with all of our pitch development programs here at RPP.

My partner Bahram Shirazi and RPP pitching coach Robbie Aviles have spent months collecting data as well as blending a degree in engineering with pro ball experience on the mound in order to help coaches and players better understand and ultimately better utilize Rapsodo to help build out a pitcher’s repertoire. It’s one thing to simply purchase instruments to collect data. It’s another to be able to understand and actually use it effectively. Knowledge is power.”

“I really enjoyed the Pitch Design webinar prepared by RPP Pitching Coach Robbie Aviles. By way of background, Robbie pitched with the Indians for seven years and I know him quite well.   This 4-part webinar is an extensive and thorough tutorial for what goes into Pitch Design and Pitch Development.  It’s time well spent for every pitcher from high school to the pro ranks to learn and begin to apply these concepts in their off-season training and program goals. I highly recommend it.”

    • Corey Muscara – Maryland University Pitching Coach

“The 4-part webinar that RPP has put together is a tremendous resource for coaches wanting to dive into analytics. Having worked with Rapsodo myself while being a college pitching coach, I can attest to the difficulty in attempting to digest the data on my own. The videos Nunzio, Robbie, and Bahram provide, give outstanding visuals and detailed descriptions on how to interpret the data and use it as a tool to improve performance. Ultimately a tool is only as good as its ability help me as a coach, help the player. This webinar is a great way to expedite the learning curve in using Rapsodo to do just that, improve a player’s performance.”
