The upcoming 2024 season will be Coach Brown’s 12th as the pitching coach and eight as associate head coach at Vanderbilt. During his tenure, 35 Commodore pitchers have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 12 in the first three rounds. He has helped the Dores to two national championships, four College World Series finals appearances, eight NCAA Tournaments and six NCAA Super Regional appearances.
Coach Brown first entered the coaching ranks after a stellar three-year pitching career at Cortland. A second team All-American in 1999 after going 9-1 with a 2.03 ERA Brown racked up 19 career victories at Cortland, a mark that tied for fifth-most in school history.
