It gives me great pleasure to introduce today’s guest, right handed pitcher, Josh Loeschorn. I have watched Josh grow-up here at RPP for the past 6-7 years into a highly accomplished pitcher and an excellent young man.
Josh is a graduate of Butler High School in New Jersey and plays for the Division 1 LIU baseball program. He was recently named the NEC Pitcher of Year, First-Team All-NEC and Collegiate Baseball Second-Team All-American. This spring he was also 2nd in Wins nationwide across the collegiate baseball landscape.
Today we’ll be sitting down and talking about the ups and downs of straddling academics and athletics in a college Division 1 program. We’ll cover a variety of interesting topics, including workload, training, handling stress both on and off the field, nutrition and staying positive through injury.
