Summer Hitting Development Program (ages 13-17 year olds)

The 12-week Summer Hitting Development Program (ages 13 – 17 year olds) is specifically designed for younger athletes who are playing travel baseball during the summer months.

As player development takes more center stage in the world of youth baseball, this summer for the very first time we are offering a program for middle school and high school athletes to remain at the top of their game.

*** You can begin in June or July and the program cost and sessions will be pro-rated.

The objectives of the summer program are as follows:

    • Keep you at the highest performance level during the summer travel baseball season
    • Maintain / improve…
      • Overall mobility, strength and power
      • Athleticism
      • Bat speed and exit velocity
      • Adjustability at the plate
      • Running speed

Summer Program Details

Given the nature of summer ball, the program has built-in flexibility to accommodate an ever-changing week to week schedule.  Hitting sessions and time slots need to be scheduled with the front desk.

13 – 16 year olds

    • 12-week program
    • 6 hitting sessions during the 12-week period
      • 2 sessions per 4-week period for tune-up in between games and tournaments
      • Additional sessions can be purchased separately
      • To be scheduled at a time of your choosing, subject to time slot availability from Mondays through Thursdays at 5 and 6 pm (preferably prior to strength training)
      • Up to 3 hitters per session
    • Mobility routine
    • Strength training
      • 2x / week (classes with a strength coach)
      • Available strength sessions will be from Mondays through Thursdays at 6 and 7 pm
    • Focus is on being game-ready for tournament play
    • No refunds or credits

16 and Older

Note – If you’re 16 and older and are approved for our monthly design strength program, you can be also train on a remote and / or hybrid basis.

    • 12-week program
    • 6 hitting sessions for the 12-week period
      • 2 sessions per 4-week period for tune-up in between games and tournaments
      • Additional sessions can be purchased separately
      • Scheduled at a time of your choosing during the week, subject to time slot availability
      • Up to 3 hitters per session
    • Initial physical assessment (if you haven’t been assessed at RPP during the past year, which will require a separate charge)
    • Mobility routine
    • Strength training
      • Up to 5x / week
    • Focus is on being game-ready for tournament play
