Derek Lipton is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Dietetics at the University of Maryland and completed his Dietetic Internship at Virginia Tech; he also holds a Master’s of Science in Applied Nutrition from Northeastern University.
Before starting Full Circle Nutrition, Derek gained experience in clinical, weight management, and sports nutrition working at IMG Academy in Bradenton Florida, the University of Georgia, and Duke University where he worked directly with athletes in developed unique skills to help athletes improve their overall health and athletic performance through nutrition coaching.
Being a former athlete himself , he understands the needs of athletes as far as fueling the body to achieve optimum performance on the field. His approach can be summarized by working with you and your current nutrition intake and tweak aspects of your routine to achieve optimal results without creating unmanageable changes.
