As we begin the new year I would like to look back on 2016 and get a bit reflective. A few years ago I started a series in which we posted the most popular blogs of the year. These are the pieces that received the most traffic, according to our hosting statistics (you can click on the title of each to read the article). 1. What Separates Good from Great
If you’re going to call yourself a “one-stop-shop” you better be firing on all cylinders. This blog goes into what every athlete should expect from a full functioning facility.
2. Bergen Catholic’s David LaManna “96 to 101″ in 12 weeks
Dave LaManna was one of our staples in the weight room this year. Here we talk about the steps he took in the weight room to help improve his reps at the plate
3. Muscle Mass and Throwing Gas

4. Northern Highland’s Zack Dreznin Taking the Necessary Steps
Zack came to us a year ago explaining that he “gasses out” within the first few innings. Then came 6 months of hard work, 20 lbs. of muscle, 7 complete games and a New Jersey State Championship.
5. Training the Alactic Energy System in Pitchers
Simply running poles will not give you game specific endurance. In fact, it will make you slower. This blogs talks about training the right energy systems to get it done on the mound.
Wishing Everyone a Healthy and Happy New Year!
